Bryce graduated with a B.Sc. Hons. (BioPsyc) from York University in Toronto. He went on to pursue a career in complementary alternative medicine and nutrition. He graduated with a Diploma in Homeopathic Medicine and Health Sciences (DHMHS) from the Ontario College of Homeopathic Medicine.
Known as one of Canada’s leading alternative health experts, Bryce Wylde is a highly knowledgeable and respected natural healthcare practitioner whose specialty is homeopathy, clinical nutrition, supplementation, and botanical medicine and whose focus is routed within functional medicine.
In a clinical setting, he blends the latest in human biological and genomic screening, science and technology, and uses new, traditional, and ancient remedies. Along with a team of allied health professionals he works closely with his patients, informed by the genetic make-up of that patient in order to customize care, lifestyle and functional therapeutic interventions for health promotion, disease prevention and longevity.
Bryce Wylde began his official on air television hosting career with CTV in early 2008 starting on the CP24 news channel with his own hour long highly rated weekly television show, Wylde on Health. Wylde on Health was a one hour long live talk show broadcast that has featured interviews with international experts including Dr. Mehmet Oz, Dr. Andrew Weil, CNN’s Dr. Sanjay Gupta, Dr. David Suzuki, and Dr. Deepak Chopra to name a few. Wylde has all of his guests - local and international – weigh in on and share their views and opinions on alternative, complementary, and integrative approaches to health and wellness while also fielding live calls from viewers.
Prior to his own show - and over the last decade - Bryce has been a regular expert guest on many national and international shows including more recently The Doctor Oz show as a regular contributor and member of the medical advisory board. He has frequently appeared on CTV’s Canada AM, The Marilyn Denis Show, CBC’s Steven and Chris, The Discovery Channel, W Channel, and ABC's Good Morning America Health.
Bryce is a registered and active member of the Ontario Homeopathic Association, a registered member of the Society of Free Radical Biology and Medicine, a member of the Institute of Functional Medicine, and a member of the International Society of Orthomolecular Medicine. Bryce previously sat for 4 years on the board of the Ontario Homeopathic Association (OHA), was active on the advisory board of the OHA to the Health Practitioners Regulations Act (HPRAC) for the purpose of re-regulation of Homeopathy in Ontario and successfully helped in creating movement for Bill 171, the Health System Improvements Act, 2007. Wylde also taught laboratory analysis and practice management at the Ontario College of Homeopathic Medicine.
The natural health world is riddled with junk science which fuels Bryce’s mission to ‘debunk the junk’. After joining forces with two world class CLIA certified laboratories, he has created a line of test kits called MyStatus™ that provide consumers, the power to discover personal levels of vitamins, minerals, antioxidants, hormones, toxins, brain neurotransmitters, and much more.
Over the years Bryce has also worked closely with various community outreach programs, fundraisers, and other altruistic campaigns to aid in awareness of worthy causes. In the last few years, he has been instrumental in helping raise over a million dollars for various causes at Sick Kids Hospital, Markham Stouffville Hospital, North York General Hospital, Princess Margaret Hospital, and York Central Hospital. Whether it is a 5, 10, or 100k run, walk, or ride, or a climb up Mt. Kilimanjaro, Bryce is up to the task of raising money for great causes. To raise awareness for Oxfam, he raced the 100km Trailwalker in 2012. Just recently, after completing the Tough Mudder as a 'warm-up' exercise, Bryce ran 235 km's through the Costa Rican rain forest on the "Coastal Challenge". Next up, Bryce is determined to cycle across Canada to raise awarness around the stigma surrounding mental health.
Wylde is the author of the national best seller, The Antioxidant Prescription: How to Use the Power of Antioxidants to Prevent Disease and Stay Healthy for Life (2008) and Wylde On Health: Your Best Choices in the World of Natural Health published by Random House Canada (December 2012).
Bryce’s speaking engagements range from community fundraisers and charity events to health show’s to fortune 500 companies.
