Bryce Wylde – alternative medicine expert, clinician, television host, educator, author, and philanthropist

Bryce graduated with a B.Sc. Hons. (BioPsych) from York University in Toronto. He went on to pursue a career in complementary alternative medicine and graduated with a Diploma in Homeopathic Medicine and Health Sciences (DHMHS) from the Ontario College of Homeopathic Medicine.

In 2009, Bryce Wylde began his official on air television hosting career with CP24 with his own hour long highly rated weekly television show, Wylde on Health. It airs LIVE on Friday’s at 7 PM and has featured interviews with international experts including Dr. Andrew Weil, Dr. Deepak Chopra, Dr. Mehmet Oz, CNN’s Dr. Sanjay Gupta, Dr. David Suzuki, and New York Times health writer Gary Taubes to name but a few. Wylde has all of his guests - local and international – weigh in on and share their views and opinions on alternative, complementary, and integrative approaches to health and wellness.
Most recently he has accepted the role of spokesperson and lead advocate for the Love Natural Health campaign a social community dedicated to the natural health industry.

Bryce is a registered and active member of the Ontario Homeopathic Association, a registered member of the Society of Free Radical Biology and Medicine, a member of the Institute of Functional Medicine, and a member of the International Society of Orthomolecular Medicine. Bryce previously sat for 4 years on the board of the Ontario Homeopathic Association (OHA), was active on the advisory board of the OHA to the Health Practitioners Regulations Act (HPRAC) for the purpose of re-regulation of Homeopathy in Ontario and successfully helped in creating movement for Bill 171, the Health System Improvements Act, 2007. Wylde also taught laboratory analysis and practice management at the Ontario College of Homeopathic Medicine.

Wylde is CEO of NHPR&D a natural health product research company dedicated to running human clinical research trials to advance natural medicine; President of Health Solutions at Work, a corporate wellness company that conducts on site work environment and employee health screenings for companies who have a strong interest in their employees’ health; and President of HGW Inc, a company which is dedicated to developing test kits which evaluate wellness markers in consumers interested in supplementing with antioxidants, vitamins, and minerals.
Over the years Bryce has worked closely with various community outreach programs, fundraisers, and other altruistic campaigns to aid in awareness of worthy causes. In the last few years, he has been instrumental in helping raise over a million dollars for various causes at Sick Kids Hospital, Markham Stouffville Hospital, North York General Hospital, Princess Margaret Hospital, and York Central Hospital. Whether it is a 5, 10, or 20k run, walk, or ride, or even more recently climbing up Mt. Kilimanjaro, Bryce is up to the task of raising money for great causes. Next up in 2012, Bryce is cycling across Canada to raise awarness around the stigma surrounding mental health.

Bryce is currently writing his next book “Wylde On Health” scheduled for release December, 2012.
