The Marilyn Denis Show
The Stahlbaum family joins the Marilyn Denis Show for the third time as the focus of The Great Canadian Weight Loss Challenge. After struggling with their weight for years, the family decided to get fit for a family wedding. Kirby who is Marg's daughter and the rest of the girls' sister is getting married on July 21st and also happens to be a fitness instructor. Over the last few months Marg, Jocelyn, Stacey and Jenn have been undergoing a diet, fitness and lifestyle transformation with the support of Marilyn's experts (myself, Julie Daniluk, and Brent Bishop). Last show... Marg weighed in at 266 pounds. She's lost 29 pounds overall. Bryce’s goal for Marg was to lose 59 fat pounds before her daughters wedding. She has lost a total of 18 pounds of FAT so far. She is nearly a third of the way toward her July wedding goal! Her ideal health goal would be to lose 76 fat pounds and keep it off for life. Jennifer weighed in at 174 pounds. She's lost 21 pounds overall. Bryce’s goal for Jenn is to lose 25 fat pounds and keep it off for life. She has lost a total of 13lbs of FAT so far. She is more than 50% on her way to achieving her ideal weight! (can she get all the way to her ideal weight for the wedding??) Jocelyn weighed in at 311 pounds. She is 32 weeks pregnant. About 8 weeks have passed since the last weigh in. A BodPod at MedCan safely tested her for her fat percentage. Bryce’s goal for Jocelyn (and any pregnant female) is to remain no more than 30-40% fat. Her ideal health goal one year from now (not pregnant) would be to lose close to 70 fat pounds and weigh in under 200 pounds. Stacey originally weighed in at 225 lbs. Today she weighed in at 209lbs. She's lost 16lbs overall. Bryce’s goal for Stacey was to lose 25 fat pounds before her sisters wedding. She has lost a total of 12lbs of FAT so far. She is nearly half way to her goal wedding weight and a third of the way to her ideal health weight. Ideally she would lose 40 fat pounds and keep it off for life. Today, it is time to check in again and determine if they are still on track!
