Question:

My Child Has Pneumonia And Took Antibitoics

Hello,

My 6 year old son was recently diagnosed with pneumonia which is being treated by antibiotics. Three weeks prior to that he had strep throat. It has been suggested that I give my son a probiotic due to the use of antibiotics. Is there something that you could recommend?
Also I hoping to find a way to boost my children's immune systems this winter as we are already off to a poor start. Is there anything that you can recommend for my children ages 6 and 4?

Hell Andrea,

I have children the same age - 6 and 4. Probiotics are a MUST after having had antibiotics. I recommend that you consider combining Bio-K with VSL#3, the strongest and most effective combination I've used in practice. For your son, it would be about 1/2 pouch of vsl#3 mixed into 1/2 bottle of bio-k twice daily following meals for 2 weeks. What I find very effective in empowering children’s immune systems over the winter is the following: vit-D, vit-C, Moducare, and when necessary due to the onset of symptoms of cold/flu try "Deep Immune Defense" by St. Francis.

Be Well!
