Question:

What naturopathic supplements can I take for psoriasis and what are my dietary restrictions?

I've had psoriasis for 27 years and have tried a myriad of diets, supplements and of course steroids. I had a great naturopath who retired and I've been struggling ever since to get back to the balance I had with her. Can you recommend any dietary restrictions and naturopathic supplements? I'm currently taking CF IP-6 & Inositol, getting too much sun and taking too many steroids. Thanks!

I too had psoriasis for 40 years! and can safely say that I no longer suffer from it. There are many things we can do for this but it will take about 3 months.
Psoriasis is an auto immune disorder whereby the body attacks itself. Our nervous system is directly related to this as well. People who suffer from it often have a extremely sensitive nervous system which needs to be addressed. I worked with Rubamed remedies and that is what made the biggest difference.
Here is what works very well....
every day take, 3 tbsp of lecithin, 2 tbsp of flax oil, zinc 25mg with 6mg copper, 1 tsp of fish oil, 25,000iu of beta carotene and 800 iu of vitamin E
Avoid red meat, cheese, eggs, cream as they can make it worse. Do your best to eat a lot of orange colored foods as they are great for the skin. If you are not having a bowel movement everyday then take 2 tbsp of ground flax seeds a day.
do your best to relax more and the ocean and sunshine is great for psoriasis.
