Osteoporosis support

I have osteoporosis and have been on Fosamax and currently Actonel 35 mg for the last 10 years. I am looking for a healthy alternative for building bone. Thank you!

Hello Gayle,

Actonel and Fosamax are useful for treating osteoporosis, but have gastritis (stomach inflammation) as a common side effect. Other treatment options depend on your overall health and medical history, i.e. supplements, IV therapy, etc. Of course calcium and vitamin D, but you know that already.
