Is there a natural health product to help increase metabolism while working out and trying to lose weight?

in one of Dr. Wydle, Wylde on Health on CP24 in March/2012, he mention a natural health product to help increase one metabolism while working out and losing weight.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

There are several supplements that have been shown to be beneficial for weight loss. Here are three of my favorites:
1. Fish oil. Fish oils will help to improve insulin management, lower cortisol and increase weight loss.
2. EGCG. Naturally occurring in green tea, EGCG is a polyphenol that can increase metabolism.
3. CLA. A naturally occurring derivative of omega 6, CLA can improve glucose tolerance and increase metabolism.
4. Coleus Forskohlii root extract. Coleus can increase thyroid hormone production.

You can find EGCG and CLA together in a product called abs+ from Genuine Health and Coleus Forskohlii is one of the ingredients in lean+ extra strength. Both of these supplements (and fish oil) are available at your local health food store. However, these are supplements and will work best when used in conjunction with a health fat loss diet and an effective exercise program. You can get the foundational principles to both here:
