Question:

How much water should I drink per day?

First, thanks for the opportunity to communicate with you.
I have just the article in the tonic Toronto magazine that came in the Globe and Mail. The article was about water. I calculate the amount of water I should drink a day as per your recommendation in how to calculate the amount of water to be consumed a day. I am 200 lbs. I have calculated that I would need 48 L of waters a day. It seems like a astronomical number to drink per day. Please correct if I am wrong and thanks in advance.

Hi there is no set amount of water you should drink. 6-8 glasses of water for 1 1/2- 2 litres of water a day is more than enough especially if you put water foods into your diet like fruits with lots of juice and cucmbers, lettuce and celery. It needs to be good qulaity like spring water or carbon filted water - avoid reverse osmosis or distilled as water should is designed to come with minerals adn the minerals that are there are for the water to work weel in the boyd , not nutrtional purposes for you - that is what foods is for. herbal teeas cand juice count as water too, just avoid juice that has added sugar. Hope this helps.
