Question:

How do I lower cortisol levels in my body

I was wondering about cortisol levels and possible ways of reducing the level in my body along with supporting the adrenal glands? Are there certain teas I should be drinking? Certain supplements like green coffee bean extract? Thanks in advance!

Hi. Studies of Relora show it can lower cortisol and raise DHEA. You can also avoid caffeine and other stimulants and stabilize your blood sugar by adding more fibre and probiotics or fermented foods to your diet and eating small meals more often throughout the day. Exercise can also lower cortisol levels as can meditation and relaxation techniques. EFAs, B vitamins, potassium and Vit C all help support the adrenals as does the an adrenal glandular. There are many herbal adrenal adaptagens and adatagen formulas - go you your local health food store and they can help you find the one that is right for you. Good luck.
