Hi You should seek an orthomolecular practitioner who specilaizes in nutrtional therpay for bi-polar. Not sure if you are in Ontario but here is a link for prationers http://www.helpyourselfcommunity.org/node/219 and if you do not live in Ontario then contact the CSOM or ISOM and they can help you find a practitioner in your area. Bi-Polar and anger management issues is highly correlated with blood sugar issues. So stabilizing your blood by removing stimulants like caffeine and adding more fibre and probiotics foods or supplements can help as can stress mannagement. So can exercise. Food allergies and blood sugar can also contribute to addictive behavior and so can specifc nutritional deficiencies. Orthomolecular practitioners can run blood tests and determine exactly what you are missing -many of them are MD's and a lot of them are psychiatrists. They can do wonderfull things with nutrition so it is well worth a try. Good luck
