Question:

How can I improve my sleep, especially after I wake up in the night?

I would like your help in this matter, please. I do not know why I fall asleep fast and after 4 hours I go to the washroom and I can't go back to sleep , it takes me a little bit of 2 hrs to fall asleep again and then it is 6:30 and have to wake up all tired and grumpy and forgetful. I have taken melatonin 3mg and that does not help, I take a sleep tea and sometimes it helps others not so much.
What can I do?

Try sleeping in a completely darkened room. That means you'll need to invest in some quality blackout blinds or curtains, and try and eliminate any excess light that can sneak into your bedroom (even try covering the LED display on your alarm clock). If you have to get up in the middle of the night to use the facilities, try not to turn on a light -- or at least just use a nightlight in the bathroom. Your own body's production of melatonin will halt immediately as soon as your eyes detect bright light (you literally trick your body into thinking it's morning).
