Question:

Is there a natural anti-inflammatory that has no blood thinning properties.

Is there a natural anti-inflamatory that is not at the same time a blood thinner? I can't take blood thinners but would like the benefits of a natural anti-inflamatory.
Thanks.

The herbal ingredients that have reported effects on blood coagulation (blood thinning) include: Curcumin (curcuminoids), Stinging Nettle (Urtica dioica ), Turmeric (Curcuma longa), Willow bark (Salix alba).

Herbal ingredients that have no reported effect on blood coagulation (blood thinning) include: Black cohosh (Actaea racemosa ), Figwort (Scrophularia nodosa) and Devil's claw (Harpagophytum procumbens).

There are products on the market that do not declare all of the active ingredients in the medicinal ingredient list. Therefore, you need to verify the non-medicinal ingredients as well. Be sure to verify with a health care professional to be sure the product contains no ingredient that could have potential interactions with the drugs you are taking.
